Just like any other species, dinosaurs have a huge ‘family tree’ of different branches of general species. They also have their own taxonomy levels, starting with the kingdom. They are part of the animalia kingdom, where all animals are found. They have the phylum Chordata, where all vertebrates are. Sauropsida is the class thier in, and is debated to put them into reptilia. They have a superorder, dinosauria, and split into two different orders saurinsichian and ornithschian, based on the formation of their hips. After that it gets much more specific to the dinosaur with their order, family, genus, and species.
